I mean I can't exactly tell or gauge these by the situation since no names are named but maybe the different concepts that were used to collaboratively write just weren't ones that interested other writers to that degree where they'd be obligated to do that. I think there's a level of flexibility that you've gotta be down with in terms of collabs, maybe entire reworks or creating new conceptual plans or ideas or even exploring entirely different nations with other people, there's still tons of retro indies that I haven't really seen talked about in terms of /retro/ and maybe the different concepts that come from them would be more palatable, there's way too many options unexplored to just throw in the towel now because the ideas right now aren't catching eyes.
