ok. time for a critical review of the song. sensitive magmites do not read, please.

magni's voice and singing have steadily improving, and this is the apex. he's really flexing and i'm happy to see how well he's progressed. the concept of the song is good, and the art and MV are really phenomenal though i am surprised they let him pick that artist considering they are known for a lot of nsfw work but considering how magni is he probably knows and likes that. also, it's in english! that's great! that's cool! keep doing that!
time for the mean stuff. the composition is.....bad. like insanely bad. like shockingly bad. and i know tachibana can do better, i've listened to his compositions before. the instrumentation is horribly outdated and fake sounding, and not in a charming way. a better song of his that uses the digital instrumentation to its advantage and goes for a sort of soft, more modern billie kind of feel is his song out of time, but that song too suffers the same issue that Copium does: THE FUCKING CRINGE BREAKDOWN RAPPING. Why, why, why, why, WHY are you doing this Tachibana? Why are you allowing this white mom tier wrapping for the breakdowns? are you just not aware it sounds like doo doo? PLEASE STOP DOING IT. The lyrics are also....not great. A lot of forced rhymes, a lot of verses that just DON'T rhyme, it's really, really amateurish. Magni if you wrote this solo, please find a co-writer with pro experience in the future, or if you co-wrote this with tachibana please...don't....do that. this song is also seems to be aiming for a seedy club jam, but it BEGS for a chorus after the breakdown that soars, that has energy, that shows the party is happening and allowing people to let loose on their inhibitions. this wet fart of a chorus goes the opposite direction and goes down low and makes me feel like i'm at a club where i want to go home and the music sucks and the drinks are way too expensive. the thing is, i think if they had leaned into it in sort of a lonely island-ish kind of way, i think the song could have worked well, but it is way too self-serious to be humorous.

i'm really sorry magni and tachibana. i can tell you guys worked really hard on this song and it took a long time and you put everything you had in it. but.....i can't with this song. i really, really can't. i'm sorry.
