No, Prism was pretty much dead when SONY purchased them 2 yers ago.

It's been proven time and time again in dozens of industries now. When a startup gets bought out by a large corpo trying to squeeze into a growing industry, they always end up getting zero actual support outside of the initial ownership purchase and eventually laid off/shut down when the fad dies.

Prism had ZERO support from sony, and as a result there was virtually no promotion or motivation for talents to really give a shit about prism. If anything it's impressive that they stayed around this long.

A. They already had her model and other things in the works

My guess is that she was training herself to be kind of like Coco, Streaming primarily JP while also translating sentences to EN, and decided to just keep that style and inverse it to primarily English once she debuted.

I refused to watch her solely for just how hideous her original 3D model was back in the day. I gave her another chance since the 2D ended up being a gigantic upgrade, but I couldn't get into her at all, personality was too standard e-girl for me.

As for /vt/ perception its an internet celebrity drama board, who cares? If anything NOT being talked about constantly here is a very good thing, especially when it's outside of generals.
