Hello /lig/ OG numbers anon here with a question for everyone: going forward should we include GX_Aura in the numbers and round ups? I intentionally left her debut stream out of the numbers as it was embedded into opera itself and thus was basically botted however she had a stream today where it was not embedded and she pulled about 3.6k ccv. She is a corpo mascot but would technically qualify under the Vienna/Reiyu corpo clause. So I am coming to all of you to get a consesus on the topic. Thank you for your time my liggas.

Hello everyone, It's time for the numbers for 8/16. These have been done manually so if somethings off apologies. Also I have decided to add Enviosity to the tracking on my end because they have been using a vtuber model for over 2 weeks now.

For context: Clio, Bat and Leaflit all have streamed more in the last calendar month than everyone on that list has in the last three, and Jets and Meat almost streamed more in one month than Vienna did in that entire 3 month window as well.

If you want a girl that streams often, find yourself a hard working /mig/ger girl.

Since you brought it up, Meat and Coqui are my joint Oshis (I consider them a package deal) and they recieve the lionshare of my live viewership. I also watch Tob, Snuffy, Olivia, Callie, Nemu, Reiyu, Limes, Leaflit, Juniper and Lyra very frequently. I do keep tabs on most of the other liggers however and cycle through them when none of my usually watched are on.

Her behind the scenes clout is more or less her connections with Nux Taku and his audience. The few viewers that actually do watch her are from his community and we saw how miserable they made life for the Vshojo girls when that shit went down. Would you want to poke that bear if you were a creator? I wouldn't.

Hello everyone, It's OG Numbers anon. The clock has hit midnight PST so once again it's time for the top 20 /lig/ vtubers in CCV for the month. As a note, this month Aethel will not be included in the numbers because most of his streams with the exception of a few were flesh streams. I have also disqualified Bao from this months numbers for only streaming 5 days this month, a week/7 days of streaming will be the minimum requirement going foward. You shouldn't get a pat on the back for your numbers if you call in sick half the time.

Top /lig/ vtubers for July 2023:

1: Neuro-Sama (5,674, down 1%)
2: Filian (5,571, up 13%)
3: Vei (5,452, down 11%)
4: Shylily (5,294, up 4%)
5: Nyanners (5,212, up 30%)
6: shxtou (5,142, up 12%)
7: Silvervale (3,583, up 13%)
8: Numi: (3,506, down 10%)
9: Anny (2,860, up 4%)
10: Snuffy (2,752, up 10%)
11: Sinder (2,604, up 63%)
12: Buffpup (2,515, up 9%)
13: Onigiri (2,450, up 7%)
14: Tricky (2,173, up 14%)
15: Chibidoki (2,028, up 1%)
16: Vienna (1,949, down 1%)
17: Juniper Actias (1,878, up 4%)
18: Saruei (1,790, up 4%)
19: Yuzu (1,767, down 20%)
20: Kenji (1,713, up 15%)

Notable liggers who are up for the month: Filian (13%), Nyanners (30%), Sinder (63%), Silvervale (13%) Snuffy (10%), Shondo (23%), Tricky (14%) Tob (16%), Limes (21%), Geega (28%), Meat (30%)

Notable liggers who are down for the month: Vei (-11%), Numi (-10%), Yuzu (-20%), OKcode (-40%), Ikumi (-64%)

Notes:

The good news is with five notable exceptions pretty much every ligger i looked at regardless of size either grew in viewership or stayed about the same. Sinder and Limes are riding redebut hype and their number increases show it. We will see if that sticks for them going foward. Nyanners and Silvervale are both significantly up, but in their cases it's more of a return to their typical numbers. Interestingly, shotou is swinging back upwards on an incline and has actually gained viewership for 3 months straight. My current suspected reason? A bunch of fans are bailing on Nijisanji's males and he's a familiar and comfortable face. He'll probably gain some of Mysta's old audience next month as well. For the Mid/small liggers this month Meat is the one who is on a big upswing, nearly matching her all time best month. I won't go too deep into it since I know she's not a big fan of looking at her numbers, but I will say the connections she's made with Snuffy, Ross, and the Vinesauce crew is paying off.

For downs Vei continues a trend of having lost 500-600 CCV per month since leaving Vshojo. This has been consistent, and I see this trend continuing down. Yuzu is at a down but she is is post-redebut month debuff. Numi is down as well but she subathons usually eat your CCV unless you are Ironmouse or Anny. OKCode was down dramatically, the direct cause being he hasn't been playing Hoyoverse games lately and it's killing his CCV. Ikumi made the decision to try and be variety and now her CCV is dropping like a rock. Sad how ASMR traps people.

That's all for this month, thank you liggers, and be well.

OG Numbers anon here, I've noted in some of my recent write ups that I have noticed a correlation with the slow decline of larger vtubers who don't stream often and the rise of the mid sized vtubers who stream over 75 hours a week. While the larger established vtubers will always have a dedicated audience who are there for them and them alone, the "hardcore" vtuber watchers are drifting to smaller sub 1k vtubers who stream a bunch, thus leading to people like Grimmi, Meat, Coqui, Olivia,Callie Calico, Jets, Clio, and Tob rising over time (each one of these vtubers streams over 100 hours per month). It's something I'm planning to keep an eye on over the next few months because I think there is an interesting trend here.

>>54178235
Last summer most vtubers didn't experience a decline in viewership until around august. This year it's been happening since early June. My current guess is more people are opening to travel so less people are at home to just be eyes on. Peak viewership season for Vtubing tends to be two periods: the March/April/early may stretch and then September/October/November. This is why a lot of big announcements and reveals typically wait for this timeframe.

OG Numbers anon here, based on what I've seen it's actually the opposite: people are moving to more niche mid sized vtubers from the larger vtubers because now there are so many vtubers that you can go with one that is specifically to your tastes instead of having to compromise with a larger one like we had to back in the 2021/2022 era.

When I did my round up of vtubers that streamed the most there was a pattern of the mid sized vtubers who streamed more than 75 hours a week being the ones who had the most steady viewership gains. The Vtuber audience is still there, it's just morphing and the larger vtubers who stream less have yet to figure it out and adapt to prevent viewership loss.

Hey gang, it's OG numbers anon here. We let the /lig/ oshi poll run for a full 24 hours, this one here https://poal.me/7kxc2w It was missing a few notable liggers (Moriko, Bao, Numi, Tricky), and was cross posted and tampered with by the other generals, but despite that, there's some very interesting nuggets to take away from, especially if we treat this more as a general board census about ligger vtubers than a /lig/ specific poll.

So here's a run down of things I found of note here.

>The top three on the poll (Neurosama, Shondo, and Sayu) are all vtubers that have dedicated generals from them and it's safe to assume the size of their place on the poll indicates the size of their board wide audience, not their /lig/ audience. Additionally, the influx of votes for Nyanners and Vei mostly came after the thread was cross posted, which indicates that with the exception of a handful of cross posters most watchers of the former ex vshojos stick to that thread, not here. Anny also gained a lot of traction after the crossposting, showing that while she is popular here she splits most of her 4chan related audience with /swarm/.
>Outside of the ones I just touched on, our double digit chuubas were Filian (32), Lucy (17), Olivia (13), Nina (11), and Jets (10). One thing of note is of the 17 votes for Lucy, almost 15 of them were within the first hour or two of the poll being posted, which means the lucy posters either made the poll themselves and swarmed it, or it was posted somewhere like a discord and they did their best to rig it. Olivia indicates an interesting turn, she's gaining a lot of popularity in the thread and it is correlating to views on twitch. I'll have to take a deep dive on what's going on with her at the end of month numbers. Nina and Jets aren't surprising results, they both have very dedicated posters who like both of them a lot, although I suspect perhaps nina got some votes from bat fans who didn't have an option.
>Meat, Grimmi, Kitanya, and Clauvio all hit with 9 votes each, which honestly is about what I would expect from that group of names
>Snuffy rocked 8 votes even with the crossposting, a little surprised hers wasn't higher
>Saruei, Geega, Lumi, Tob all were at 7. Again, these are more or less what I expected, with the exception of Saruei. Normally she would hit double digits in these polls so I feel like general sentiment in the thread is shifting away from her outside of her dedicated core.
>Layna, Mari, Laimu, Callie, Alice, Squchan, Coqui, Silver, Vienna, Shylily, and Mint all hit between 4-6 votes each, which again feels like it makes sense with this group as they have dedicated posters and overlap with people above them
>All other chuubas received at least 1 vote except for 2: Alfhilde and Dazey. Dazey is newish to the thread, and Alfhilde has more antis than anything.

That's all I got takeaways from this rigged ass poll. Have a good one liggers.

So I did a dive into the first week or so of /lig/ threads. Some interesting stuff I have found:

>Thread as we all know was founded by a Nemu poster but he was helped by a Lumiposter and people from Anya/Petra who kept threads alive with free bumps. Pekoposters also ended up arriving and became an early staple of the threads.
>Annyposters moved in almost immediately. Saru posters tested the waters for a bit. Tob and Numi posters showed up in the second /lig/ thread more or less together and batposters descended on the place as if it was their birthright.
>One of the first topics of discussion was why the bottom limit was 100 viewers, thus proving once and for all bitching about what the cut off should be is a time honored /lig/ tradition
>Juniper was posted in the first several threads and a lot of people thought it was her /here/ posting
>Reiyu was shilled as early as the second thread, surprisingly it was by a deadbeat who was visiting by and she stuck. The combo of her, Vienna, and Pikamee led to the small corpos clause.
>Someone tried to shill Artemis. It didn't take.
>Interestingly, someone early on asked about the south side vtubers in the second thread. At the time the only one that qualified was Krimbo but a quick search showed that by the end of Feburary both Meat and Coqui were partnered and were being linked here regularly.
>The link round up anon/OG numbers anon showed up around the second thread. That motherfucker's surprisingly an institution of this thread.
>Yoclesh was first posted in the 3rd /lig/ thread. by the end of the week we were posting about her fucking dogs. Good job /lig/, good job.
>Shockingly, Filian was actually shilled in the 3rd ever /lig/ thread. She never really registered heavy the way she does now until around April, but I am noticing a pattern of a lot of the vocal /lig/ communities being ones that got in early.
>The popular timeloop early conversation of /lig/ was about vei vs shylily and if shylily was a copycat or not. This would go on for fucking months.
>Squchan poster showed up in the 4th /lig/ thread. started out just talking about how cute she was and eventually evolved into wanting to cum inside of her.
