I'm OG Numbers anon, not the current one. I do the monthly number wrap ups and deep dives into trends, and I fill in for current numbers anon when he says he can't do it. I did the numbers for about 8 months or so at the start of the thread's existence. The difference between he and I is that I do everything manually and he runs a script.

hi, OG Numbers anon here. Been keeping an eye on Callie for a little bit as she had already been on an upswing but there has been a pretty notable increase in viewership for Callie in the post debut week. Her 3 month average going into the month was about 223 CCV, a 23% increase for her since she hit partner. In the last month she's been pulling down a rock solid 285 CCV and in the week since 3am 377 CCV average, although mind you some of that is from raids involving 3am related stuff so who knows if that will be long term traction or not. That said, She's at the very least trending the right direction, despite the back luck she's been having lately.

I consider you all my friends and brothers. We may not know each other beyond this place but there's no place I'd rather shit up on the internet than here with my fellow liggermen.

Hi OG here and I want to clarify myself on those statements the other night. First off I'd really rather prefer to keep talking about the 3am girls here. I dug into mythic and MSMs pages and they have auditions as well (their sites specificallysay to use the contactus pages to apply), they do joint event collabs with their branding (mythic is even going to havea booth at twitch con). Functionally speaking the only real difference is the other two have fleshies and 3am doesn't. That's it. At this point I am becoming convinced this is a semantics argument in bad faith just like when mythic happened and I am no longer entertaining those people.

Now, as for the "as soon at 2 members reach 1k ccv for 3 months I will make /3am/ "statement: I still plan on doing this but not to encourage a split, i cannot control what or where others post after all, but because at that size I believe the girls will be popular enough to support a /shon/ or /nina/ style secondary thread for more focused discussion, which has always been my idea for this situation. Liggas can post wherever they want when that happen too and I wont try to railroad anyoneone way or the other, I just want to support the girls regardless and do so in a manner that causes as little conflictas possible because I love both them and our communityin /lig/. OG numbers anon here, I was actually going to propose tracking Murdercrumpet as a Vtuber. He does both 2D and 3D now as well as just chatting and gaming streams. He's more or less doing everything a regular chuuba does at this point and it's probably remiss of us to leave him out. Just my opinion however.

Buffpup maintains her audience because her audience is a mix of Zoomers, women and furries, plus and added benefit of being one of the old guards of Twitch Vtubing. It's also worth stating that in indie vtubing having a husband or significant other isn't a death sentence depending on the type of content you do. Buffpup has a lewd streak but most of it is for comedy purposes, not erotic purposes, and she's always been open with her relationship so it was a non-factor to her audience.

Allow me to alter what I meant by the wording of my conclusion: Age isn't the only explicit thing here. Most of the girls on the bottom list with the exceptions of Milky and Camila are from the golden boom of EN vtubing, that early 2020 window where people blew up. Snuffy, Bao, Juniper, and Vienna were all 25 or under when they blew up. They chose after the boom to chase careers in vtubing and either didn't have the maturity to stick with it the way they should have or burnt out and don't want to admit it. In Tricky's case it is definitely burn out because not only did she have a long career in vtubing at this point but she's been an active youtuber for nearly a decade.

The more I think this over, the more I don't think it's age per se, it's the same problem we see in hololive with some of Myth streaming significantly less and with ex vshojos scaling back their streaming: The vtubers from the golden EN boom that were not mentally prepared for the day in day out grind to treat this like a job are fizzling out. At this same time, we have a generation of people who have spent years as small vtubers getting their exposure and them having forged their careers while working day jobs and living normal lives at the same time has given them a will to grind that these people who got big fast don't have anymore.

OG numbers anon here. Been working on a long form post about numbers trends but more or less there are some major factors I've noticed lately: vtubers streaming 70+ hour or more a month are incling, large vtubers who stream under 60 hours a month are hard declining. On top of that it seems vtubers who are older/had day jobs in the past are the ones far more likely to stream regularly while the ones that have been mostly content creators/did not hold a lot of past life work experience are the ones that are wildly erratic.

I have a current belief that the overall trend for the vtuber scene is a ton of vtubers in the 800-1.5k will be the norm instead of the old standard of 3-5k andies you used to see in the older days of vtubing and /lig/. People know there are more options now and fill find and stick with the vtubers they specifically have a taste for instead of feeling obligated to watch someone because they are a larger name. With that in mind this means tob is more or less at the "made it" cap and can be considered a notable ligger

Best way to start is just start. Use something basic like PNGtubing to get the feel for if you like streaming for sure. Once you know it's for you, then invest in the model, but be aware you will likely not make back what you spend.

The other key advice: stream consistently and stream often. 3-4 times a week at 4-6 hours is the sweet spot based on the data I have seen. Schedules are nice but not required as long as you communicate with viewers you make via social media. Remember to save your vods, and don't be afraid to make your own clips from them. While you are fundamentally right, there are a Few issues with this post: Lyra is only down by 4% over the last three months, which at her viewership level is about 10 people, tops. Yuzu and bao are both down over the last three months (13% down for Yuzu and motherfucking 26% down for Bao, the same as nyanners).

Also, my current theory is that inclines have *slightly* less to do with collabs and more to do with hours logged in at streaming. at the end of june I looked at who streamed the most in the span of 3 months and noticed that most of the inclining liggers streamed on average 75-100+ hours per month where the declining ones streamed less than 60 hours per month, with a handful of outliers. I was actually thinking about doing a post revisiting this soon.
