I'm happy for both of them because they are great companies with a good track record so far, led by great CEO's and with wonderful talents.
They have good strategies to grow and are steadily achieving greater success.
idol and Phase Connect are my two favorite vtuber companies and I believe they represent the best vtubers have to offer, for the most part at least.
Their growth rates and strategies are different and that's ok. They are each taking their own path upwards.
Comparing them on only one specific aspect is pretty pointless, as is trying to be tribalist between them.
Phase Connect is older, it has more members plus Pippa. idol is newer, the EN gens debuted more recently, they have more ads, vtuber shilling and marketing at conventions.
What I really like about both companies is that they embody a sense of freedom, CGDCT and love for their fans. Both companies let them get away with a lot of content and have many girls that really show a lot of love for their fans.
It doesn't matter which number is higher at any given time what matters is that small corpos are becoming less small.
