I just got home so I have a chance to sperg out over the idol outfits
The JP outfit is the most balanced and maybe the best design (sorry Mika). The formal look of the top and the simplicity of no leggings means all the flare is concentrated in the waist area and it works amazingly. The layering around the waist is insanely well-done and the centered bow in the back is just beautiful. The overall mostly symmetrical design and the overall classiness of the outfit is a perfect upgrade for the JP girls.
The EN girls outfits are also amazing. At first look I thought it was over-designed but the more I look at it the more I like it. I'd say it's more extravagant than anything and I think Mika did a great job. She used asymmetry very well between top middle and bottom, the layering of the frills is also done well here, and I'm a big fan of the bow placements all over the outfit and the unique color design for each girl. The double-button top looks good on all the en girls and the short cut of the top showing belly is really cute. I also like that the EN girls got a full leg covering on one leg which calls back to the previous JP idol outfits, which is nice because it makes it feel like they didnt miss out on the previous version.
The ID outfit is probably my least favorite but I still love it. The overall sporty/hot weather design is super cute and the imbalance of bow weight makes up for the half-length symmetrical tail in the back. The hard larger block of coloring in the design looks really good for this type of outfit too whereas the EN girls have a mostly contrast dependent design between black and white with unique flairs The sporty sneaker design is a cool contrast to the formal shoes and high heels the other branches got that helps tie this design together
Overall I love them all and its really cool how theyre all coordinated cross-branch with the sleeves being equal short on JP, full right on EN and full left on ID, and with JP getting the long right tail, EN getting long left and ID getting short both. Also extra point for the EN girls since their outfit shows armpit. and I don't care who asked by the way I posted this for me because I had to
