If someone makes a seemingly positive thread about a vtuber, they're actually an anti.
If someone attaches a picture with their post, that's not their oshi.
90% of the board is mentally ill but larping about having a different mental illness then the one they actually have.
Discord servers raid threads all the time, particularly generals. If you make the smart decision to gravitate to the general of a vtuber you like, remember that it will eventually get raided.
Do not bite bait. Do not reply to bait. Do not reply to people replying to bait (it's probably the same poster).
Some of this advice assumes you're new to 4chan as well, if you aren't, then you should know already how retarded the average user is.
