part of arknights lore is they have rock cancer, and ifrit in particular has really bad rock cancer and has them protruding from her skin all over the place.

artist just completely forgot about them there.

there's a few designs in arknights where they E2 or other skins just forget certain bits and pieces, or fucks up badly. but they hire a lot of indies and randoms to do art for them so its kind of expected.
