Hehe, I’ve gotten pretty good at pumping a few thousand words out in only a matter of hours. It can take a bit for inspiration to strike for me, but once it does, I’m already gone… I wrote and proofread an 11.6K word fic in 3 days once. I hope you like my cult fic as a piece of worldbuilding/lore!

So sorry for the late reply, was finishing up my shift! I’m home now. As for what’s been on my mind today other than the little drabble I posted above… Honestly, I just can’t stop thinking about manipulative, guilt-trippy Vox who makes you feel bad for things as a means of getting you to rely on him more and become even more desperate for his approval. I’ve always been into psychological torment and torture like that: gaslighting, lying, manipulation, the full nine yards. I adore the idea of reader being lonely, weak, and desperate for Vox’s approval after being told so many times that he’s disappointed in you for (insert thing he’s making up here) (insert thing that never happened here) (insert something here that’s not your fault) because he’s a smoothtalking gaslighter who loves breaking you down into a clingy, pathetic little thing who hangs onto every word he offers you. Even the slightest praise found in something like “I guess you can be good for something” makes you perk up like a wilted plant after being watered.

I adore this oh my god!! I love the idea of the original pregnancy kink kindred (hi btw hehe) preparing this as her own kind of offering; as her own kind of way of showing her love and gratitude to Vox. I like the idea raised in a previous thread that “how you show love to Vox doesn’t matter as long as you’re showing it” is the Kindreds’ mentality, and this fits right in with that. I love this! It would be amazing if you wrote more about how the ideas spread between the Kindred and what other Kindred do with these newfound desires and thoughts to reflect how all of us have our own spin on the larger pregnancy kink concept!
