token merging merges tokens (surprise) to make image generation faster and less memory intensive. It gets rid of """redundant""" tokens to speed things up without impacting the image. In practice there is definitely a huge speed up but it has a horrible effect on composition, so only highres fix and MAYBE img2img are worth merging tokens for, not regular gens, since regular gens are already really fast and not worth shitting on (potato pcs may disagree!), and inpainting&img2img is already pretty quick

I've found 0.3 token merge on highres and nothing else to be very very nice.
