Overlay is both SUPER important, and not at all important.

As an example of a bad overlay, maybe you have none. Chat is in glaring orange and green over part of the screen. Your avatar and latest [whatevers] are over important bits of the game screen.
This will actively turn people away from you unless you're deliberately shit, as a joke.

But nobody will come to watch you because your overlay is good.
