I'm sorry, this looks like shadbase stuff.
I think you should focus more about getting a heavy understanding of form down rather than just focusing on rendering.
I recommend you to look at the digital paintings of yoh yoshinari and shirow masamune for inspiration and try to achieve things that look good already in the sketch stage to push your work forward.
