The other day I set out some glue traps to see if my house had a bug problem. I didn't know how inhumane they were until I came home the next day and saw a little lizard had been stuck in one of them. God knows how long he was in there. I frantically searched for something to help and it turns out olive oil can dissolve the glue, so I ran to the store to get some and immediately set up to free it. I tried my best, but he didn't make it, bros. Died right there on the table before I could get him out. My heart sunk, and I walked back inside to clean up the traps when I saw ANOTHER little fucker got caught. But he was in for less than 30 minutes, so I was actually able to save him. He seemed slow afterwards, I don't know if he was just tired, or injured, or mentally scarred, but he was free and he was alive. I'm so sorry lizardbros, I never meant for any of this to happen.

TL;DR: Never use glue traps.
