Honestly Civia isn't a contention point right now. She's a good contrast to the group since she comes from a higher background, but as far as the present relationships are concerned, I'm not too invested or concerned with whatever it is she's doing. It's more about the main ones that need more innards. Like Sora at this point should feel like she can confide or at least want to confide in Azki about anything. If they're meant to have each others backs in this new chapter of their lives, it needs to feel more organic and their interactions end with more than just an "ok". Which also kinda leads to Sora herself, she may not be meant to know about everything that is going on, but on a fast track to training and an education, she should be getting considerably more aware of herself. For your argument over the romance, you've been using a lot of contextual cues that Sora can see that puts the idea in her head that Botan might want to be something more to her. Just the jokes and teaching her how to wear a damn bra would be enough for her to think through if she would kiss a girl or not. If she asked herself about love in a previous chapter, she's at the point to ask herself if she's a lesbian. It's also fine if she's known she likes girls all her life, but it probably deserves to be mentioned.
Careful with how you speed up the pacing, since I didn't say it was too slow, I said the character development was slow. A semblance of a main plot is pretty much hidden to me at this point besides Sora maybe getting a horse some day and learning how to write "botan is gay". So be extra careful with how you present an overarching plot to this story or else it's gonna just show up like whatever dudes waltzed up in the beginning of the story.
