If I understand it right, then Buddhists believe that there are four noble truths and the very first one is that everyone suffers and that suffering is part of the world. And because there's also a cycle of rebirth, people will experience suffering many times over. Further, all of the things a person goes through in life cause suffering and they cannot do anything about it. Instead, they have to accept that it is there. Or something along these lines. Not sure why I bring this up. It must have crossed my mind somehow.

I miss the time when I didn't visit these threads.
