It's part of the required skillset. If you can't manipulate your audience correctly then you've failed and you're not cut out for the job in the first place.
Vtubing for a large company is one of the easiest jobs in the world. If you've landed a place at Cover or Nijisanji then it's smooth sailing because you've acquired the golden ticket. Vtubing as an indie can be difficult, but that's down to the grind.
