For some of them like Mumei and Faun, part of me thinks it might be because of them being white. Proportionally white people typically have longer legs and a shorter torso, even if they're the same height as an asian person

Found a good example of what i'm talking about. Fauna and Mio are around the same height but it's pretty apparent that Fauna's torso is way shorter than Mio's. This is because they have to match the overall body proportions to the chuuba and Fauna naturally has longer legs than Mio
