/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

Hello, I know it's not very on-topic, but I would like to raise awareness about the existence of russian vtubing scene. Sorry if they're not cool enough for you thread.
The main group that I've been supporting for a while now is WePlanet, which was born from creative drive of a Vtuber known in the past as Earth-chan (yes, the meme one). After 3 years she has rebranded herself as Mana Renewal and has gathered a few people around her. I hope you don't mind me writing a short blogpost here about them.

You may have heard about her because of her past as Earth-chan, but also maybe due to her collab with Moona from HoloID a couple months ago. Unfortunately she doesn't know a lot of english, but she has managed to bang together impromptu real-time subs thanks to Powerpoints speech-to-text capabilities (also has EN subs in her chat from time to time). I don't really know how to promote her in the west, because all I can do is translate, so I was thinking about doing short subbed videos of her stuff but I keep forgetting the timecodes.

She also has some pretty basic opinions on things, as evident from the video, but she's a sweet and hardworking girl who does pretty much 70% of all the work behind the scenes - making schedules, ordering/creating illustrations, improving/making/commissioning models/rigs, working out tech issues and the like. Recently she's been focusing on her studies and can't stream a whole lot, but I hope she gets done with those soon.

The only person in the entire group who can both understand and speak english on an adequate level, but doesn't get a lot of chances to do so, mostly because she doesn't have a whole lot of foreign viewers. She's pretty standard in terms of content and got into vtubing just do deal with her vidya backlog.

Doesn't speak or understand English at all. Despite being a very gifted singer ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVu7Ui6XmW4 ) she's _extremely loud_, has no semblance of cognitive inhibition and has an attention span of a kid with severe ADHD. Possibly on some kinda spectrum, if you're into that. also her roommate account is said to be extremely nationalistic for some reason
I'm personally worried for her future, because she's become kinda big on BilliBilli, and I don't trust the chinks. She and her manager seem not to worry about it though.
