I just like them, simple as that. I think he's got good game choice and he's funnier than people realize, but he's also got a lot of issues as a streamer. He's working on them and has improved a lot in the past few streams, but I think this one's really highlighting his flaws.
Minecraft is popular because it's a vehicle for zatsudan, but Sonny doesn't really have any interesting commentary on what he's doing or much meaningful interaction, either with chat or with the rest of the people on the server. I'm probably biased because I can't find Minecraft interesting, though. I've given him a pass for just narrating his thought process in things like puzzle games or games that are actually interesting to watch, but Minecraft just isn't for me unless you're doing really creative builds.
