That's the saddest part of it all. Sayu probably thought that she had more of a connection to her old coworkers than she actually had. In reality, most of them just probably view themselves as coworkers or acquaintances at most, with only a small handful of people in NijiEN actually being at the point where they can consider themselves actual "friends".
It's not late though, there are people that actually care for Sayu like Shiina and Airi in Phase. Hell, she's probably closer to people like Silvervale and Milky than she is to the Nijis. For the sake of her mental health, she needs to prioritize the people that actually care for her and who actually may have more in common with her.

The moment I saw Enna and Millie's character designs being teased for Gen 3 I was so hoping we'd either get someone like her or someone like Ami from PRISM project with their pleasant voices and personalities.
