As someone who moved to Japan and was comfily settled in in 2 weeks, it puzzles me greatly. I have 3 theories:

>1. They are having Visa problems
>2. They are panicking hard, which prevents them from getting stuff done
>3. They are straight lying and having a long holiday / focusing on something different

According to what they said in one of their "sekrit streams", theory 3 could be real. But I really hope I misunderstood what they were saying. It never got archived, so I can't link it.

/biz/ here. I speak some Japanese. Not 100% sure, but here's what I think what happened.
Too many people were short selling ANYCOLOR stock, so the booking form that manages them put some restrictions on on the amount of equities an entity can borrow to short sell them. Shit is not unheard of, it's to avoid panic selling. But if I'm getting this right, it means that investors in Japan are INCREDIBLY pessimist about ANYCOLOR's future performance, to the point everyone is betting on their value going down.
