I'll background play whoever uses their powers as an influencer to make my monster (doge investment) grow...to 5x its current market cap. Aside from that, I've no interest in Japanese vtubers. I expect a return on investment for my time and attention.

The vtubing market crash that's about to unfold. Hope they all tethered up instead of pissing away their earnings on luxuries.

>play-asia
>ye olde game importing company with a track record of not driving themselves into bankruptcy over the last 10 years
>have good memories when ordering games in the past
>check Twitter
>gamers rise up
>nijibegging
>chuba mascots
Let's cut to the chase. Is 2232 currently in the process of using vtubing as a vehicle to develop a working relationship with Play-Asia? Because that would appear to be the smart long term play when it comes to western partnerships.

Play-Asia has staying power, brand recognition, a decent reputation (last I heard, which is admittedly a while ago), and an infrastructure for importing overseas goods and services to western consumers. As a company that presumably plans to make money in the future from EN merchandising and events, it seems like on the surface Play-Asia would be a suitable target for some sort of partnership involving exclusive this or that. Especially since it's a private company, and is less exposed to any sort of trouble from short-sighted public investors.

Personally, I'd hate to see Holomax Prison get to them first. Let them have Crunchyroll and funimation. The anime community is increasingly a wash anyway.

Gura, Ame and Kiara live in Jenma's maximum security cuckshed. They're never getting out unless they break out and run for it.

Odds are that Niji's won't be able to break in any time soon unless Hololive doomps hard, at which point karma kicks in. Niji can take the high road and try to save them. Personally, I'd tell the company to fuck off while headhunting their talents at a moment of weakness.

To be fair, /vt/ has been memeing about Hololive being locked in a gilded cage for months. This should come as no surprise. Hololive EN has been widely known for a while to be a glorified maximum security prison. Visitation hours aren't guaranteed.

If you checked my 4chan gold account and looked up my post history, you'd see I'm the guy consistently pointing out how little numbers and nepotism matter.

Don't care about friendships. Being entertaining is most important factor in entertainment. I don't watch vtubers to see them jerk each other off on stream. I watch them to be entertained. If my entertainment is sacrificed at the alter of a chuba's friendship, then that chuba will be sacrificed at the altar of my not giving a damn. Maybe this is something ambitious small corpos should consider.

As a word to the wise, personal friends don't always make good work, stage or business partners. That much has always been true.
