You know, this is probably a teachable moment. Maybe /vt/anons should stop talking about corporate vtubers in order to avoid potential lawsuits, just like doujin circles stopped creating Nijisanji fanworks after getting eviscerated for doing so. Sad to say, but speech protections just aren't what they oughta be. Or rather, they're ass backwards in the sense that literal nobodies get shit on (RIP innocent Japanese old man who got bankrupted by a certain wealthy harpy) while career gossips (news media and content creators) have free reign to put people on blast and destroy people's reputations without consequence.
