I'm also noticing that the difficulty isn't just her attacks, it is that there aren't many other enemies spawning in during it so if your build favors hitting and killing hordes for healing like Horns + Plushy (and Ayame for her haste) then you'll suddenly run into trouble as that gets cut off. Halu will likely make that much easier.
