Everything you've said is correct OP. However I disagree on the idea that chuubas/concepts are all necessarily evil. You have to remember that demon comes from greek daemon and daemons can range from good, neutral, to evil. Vtubers are the same, some are nice pure girls and others are whores and thots. The computer/internet is the boundary between the immaterial and the material so it is only natural that we now have a bunch of spirits running amok in the material world, we inadvertently opened a portal to other worlds and alien beings. Why do you think it's called WINDOWS? APPLE? Not only is the earth filled with moonkeys but now we have a bunch of aliens and ghosts running around too.

The degradation of fellow anons is an issue but I don't think the chuubas/demons or vtubing are at fault. I think some other ulterior forces entered and hijacked the scene for their purposes. Back during the /jp/ threads watching vtubers didn't feel like a bad thing, it was new and exciting, a new frontier. The medium seemed to hold infinite potential. People would streamhop and there were relationship charts and new vtubers coming out everyday. Some things would begin to trend like when everyone was playing Home Run Derby. None of that stuff really happens nowadays. It seems more a lot more divided and tribal now. Money matters way more and material reality keeps encroaching on the hobby.
