I’ll cut him a slack here: it’s not the role of an “advisor” to actually do anything and he was hired exclusively to rub some “old boys cream” over VShojo actual management aka to “vouch” for VShojo with the Japanese partners they were trying to secure.

His biggest failure was not to advise them on what NOT to do, that whole “talent freedom” campaign in the society that values conformity to the rules the most.
