I hope so too… I think about it a lot. Getting invited out on a date by a man who’s well put-together, clean, and sociable and thinking to myself “oh good he’s not a weirdo, this is a nice man” and not even realizing that he’s as awful as they come. On the outside, anyone taking a glance at him would assume he’s affluent, composed, and important judging by his dress and mannerisms, but in reality he’s spiking my drink while I’m in the bathroom and waiting to haul me off to a hotel room so he can fuck me over and over while I fall in and out of consciousness, too weak and dazed to even lift an arm… Being conned by someone who you think looks nice and polite is so yummy.

I’ve been imagining a traditional Japanese breakfast there over more “western” breakfasts. Obviously people still eat toast in Japan and whatnot, but I’ve been envisioning like, miso soup, fish, and white rice as a common breakfast for Kindred.
