While the Bochi cosplay is whatever, are you blind? All of her dancing videos have numerous cat elements put up over her even if they're not trying to make it move with her throughout the entire video. I personally think she's just become more confident in herself and no longer feels the need to hide behind the digital avatar, even if she stills enjoys her anonymity with the shadowplay and masks to obscure her face. She's just regressing to the utaite mean from the opposite direction then normal where she's aware that tech limits her ability to perform to the level she's capable of, especially in a live setting which she's building to. She still does the nya-hello and such, but like most vsingers she's never leaned much on kayfabe since it's not relevant to her performing.
