Of course you’re not going to make friends when every single vtuber obsessively clout chases and numberfags, and acts like they have their name engraved on Hollywood street. If a creator won’t or can’t interact with their community members because they think they’re above them or if their members are hopeless orbiters and simps, then they will be lonely. Content creators deserve to lie in the bed they made. It wasn’t always like this, the leader/streamer and follower/viewer divide didn’t used to be this wide on the early internet, but everyone wanted to LARP like they were a famous and rich person, so now here we are. You can’t make friends with your viewers because the expectation is that they orbit you and you act above them, and you can’t make true friends with other chuubas because of the numbers game, clout culture, and that they’re technically your financial competition.
