It's not about reading it anon it's about reading it out loud.
I tried streaming Star Rail in Japanese and it was a nightmare.
There are some games where you can stream in Japanese and it'll be fine but you either need to make the compromise that you're not going to read out all the dialogue (which doesn't work well for JRPGs) or you need to summarize/put your own wording in there.
Actually reading line by line gets so exhausting after awhile.
It can also be bad if the character has already read it out loud but in Japanese because it essentially doubles the time you need to spend playing the game/waiting for gameplay or other stuff to happen since it's like they're saying it twice.

I was very on-guard against it and thought there was no way I'd ever fall for a streamer but it still happened.

I love Apex. I love Gundam Evo. Siege is sometimes pretty ok.
