This, getting any kind of traction as an indie is the very small exception, not the norm.
I have been following the indie vtuber world ever since my old fav Azuma Lim got fucked over by her company and it was me not want to deal with company vtubers anymore. The ones holo fans hear about and what most of the audience knows is like the top 0.1% of vtubers.

Even getting 30 regular viewers is insane, you've already made it if you maintain that, the vast vast majority of indies stay below 5~10 viewers half of them being tracker bots and some "silent supporters" who keep tabs open without watching the stream.

You could be the best vtuber ever and still stay mostly unknown and get no traction on your posts. Sure, being talented helps, but it's only one small thing, the main thing is luck, timing, networking/cryonism. For every known chuuba you could find 100 others who would have done just as good in their position. It works in similar ways for most artistic fields. Tons of literally who artists got "discovered" long after their death and had no success in their lifetime. So never expect any attention, there is literally 0 danger of beatani being "taken over" by another commnity or becoming too big for her own good.
