The vibe I got early on from Pomu saying shit like she applied for hololive but didn't get in because she wasn't even a vtuber yet, or that she went to idol concerts alone and was scared by giant japanese men, or that she thinks idols should be like taylor swift and date (which would destroy the industry because the whole point is that 91% of the males and the 10 women who watch it are generally goslings for the pure uwu idol-chan) made me think that Pomu was never really a deep thinker or deeply into any of the things she claimed to be good at. For example she claimed to speak japanese and her fans will seethe and argue with you if you point out she sucks at it (and further proven by elira, not pomu, being the management go-between) she always came off as someone who kind of floated around with plausible "I was there and did THING" and then her fanbase called her the number 1 expert in THING. It's that weird discordesque cope where they just try to attach as many good-sounding adjectives to their name as possible without caring that it makes them come off as fake.
