Holo I know but Ina and Ame are a good example of this.
Ina's clearly always liked Japanese culture, given that her transition animation since day 1 was that sliding door, but the dumb Japanese tatami room she has here doesn't fit with her design or character background at all. It arguably sort of works with her current more normal outfit but it 100% doesn't with her original design and premise.
Ame by comparison has a detective's office. This just works (though is noticeably lower quality than Ange's atelier background.
