I think this one is about us....

A group of friends, they gathered 'round,
To write of worlds where magic's found,
Each with their own tale to tell,
A bond so strong, it was hard to quell.

They dreamed up kingdoms, full of lore,
Of dragons, knights, and so much more,
And as they wrote, their hearts did soar,
In their fantasy world, they could explore.

But then one day, life took its toll,
And the group began to grow apart,
Their stories left untold,
Their fantasy world, it broke their heart.

For though they tried, to keep the flame,
Their lives had changed, and they were not the same,
Their tales of magic, faded away,
And their bond, it slowly did decay.

So now they sit, alone and still,
Their fantasy worlds, no longer real,
A friendship lost, a dream now gone,
Their stories left untold, forever on.
