/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

Otsonny!! This was the first ranking stream I have watched the entirety of in a long time, I think the last one I sat through was the HP house sorting stream (oh god how has it been nine months since then). Anyways, despite my general dislike for streams of this nature I'll watch it if it's sonny, and i do think an axis was definitely preferable to a tier list. With that, the premise was simple: is (You)r oshi an oniichan or otouto, and where do they fall on a scale of reliant to reliable? Then he just went down the list and went with his gut. I generally trust sonny to rank the members of nijien more than I'd trust some... other people, especially with a subject he's an expert in like this, and while a lot of his reasonings were sound I didn't 100% agree with him funnily enough. I think the issues mostly arose when he started opening polls and kneeling to chat... oh god Shu. Maybe I'm just /here/ too much but I will never see him as anything other than a reliable autistic little brother, even sonny said as much (minus the autistic part KEK) but chat just wasn't having it and he ended up above the line. Vox was a similar case, i mainly watch him in collabs and various gaming streams so I'm sure I've missed out on some more mature discussion, but to me his potential childishness overpowers most onii-chan energy. Ah well sonny, it's your list. A number of placements were pretty on the mark though— ren, mysta, kyo, alban, ver all felt fairly appropriate and I liked his logic for aiku, though I think he could have been moved up a bit. There were definitely some more difficult decisions too, but sonny was determined to not have any "middle children." At the end, I was worried he'd put himself below the line in some bizarre subversion of expectations, but despite chat's heckling and with some careful consideration he ended up being the only one totally on the top line. Of course. My stupid older brother who wants to be pampered... I'm surprised he kept incest totally out of the discussion for 99% of the stream but I feel very well-fed regardless. When all is said and done, the worst thing about his gimmick streams are how short they are. It was fun, and whether you agree or disagree with me or him, you know your own oshi best and that's what matters. ...And incest is good, that's also what matters. Thanks for the stream sonny, I'm kind of hoping for gorilla later but I'd rather you rest your throat in prep for karaoke tomorrow, especially since you talked about having some hard songs on the list. Praying everything goes as planned! I also really enjoyed hearing your raw vocals from the new cover on pomu's stream earlier... your art ended up looking so cute and bratty too, a perfectly unsuitable pose indeed.
