Basically you can be thin and unhealthy (yeah, me 2 years ago) if you don't have a good diet.
Here's some key words for you to start your research:
- Avoid anything you can't digest.
- Do not base your diet in grains and nuts because their defense system will fuck you up.
- By just cutting carbs you will burn fat, and the first fat to go is from the liver. It's not necessary to cut it all, just the right amount.
If you do your research, you will see that, once you do the things above, the amount of calories basically doesn't matter to keep you healthy and the weight loss is automatic.
Exercises are also very important to keep your functions and allow you to eat more carbs.
