Not all private companies have great owners that care for their product or their consumers, but generally, they do have better outcomes in this regard, because owners with personal investment in their product care more than a random fucking investor, that just wants to see numbers going up.

I could change my mind on this but unless you bring some hard-data or actually give me a good analysis in how (despite all the examples of companies being ruined by going public) it makes no difference that a company is private or public.
