The moving to japan announcement and all of their Mori collab spam while ignoring many others suddenly makes sense. They're so desperate to become japanese that they look at Mori from the west who moved to japan, and are 'using' her to get an in or tips or anything to facilitate them becoming japanese. Mori arguably is using them too for her benefit (insert lean/connor/etc introductions when they meet irl) and the whole thing just feels odd.
When asked about kaela (and all the bee joe collabs) they went "well... we're gonna let biboo continue collabing with kaela" basically saying if she isn't JP they don't care. Anya collab was only because she's le heckin' JP, Reine collab was because she's rich and they're looking for a private jet or something. Even the JP collabs have been scarce - barely any koyori yobai parties, one (?) lui thing, maybe 2 FBK and polka things, but where the hell are all the other JP collabs if they love them so much? Gotta let 5 Mori collabs happen until the next one!
Also their Japan announcement honestly felt a bit unprofessional. Usually any "HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT" is always some product for the fans, whether it be merch or a cover/original song, concert, 3D, literally anything that's a product you can buy or watch. People were swearing to god that it wouldn't be a japan announcement since literally no other EN has ever announced them moving for security/opsec or just not bragging about it. While it may be a dream of theirs, it's the first time they hyped up something that's entirely for them and not the ruffians.
