Elite Naitos were kind of already in the structure as Council Naitos, elected officials that govern from a roundtable to do all the boring governance Himesama doesn't want to, nanora. Hime of course has final say on all matters, nanora. I imagined the Hime Vessel family as kind of like the British royal family is now. They have influence, but not formal power, naaa (and getting elected to the Council is fairly common for vessel families).

Rogue /meat/naitos might exist, but wouldn't come to the kingdom often, I think. I can imagine a rogue squadron, seeking out forbidden ingredients to please the Hime, delusionally believe Himesama hasn't put the order out for their capture and execution.

no, there are a lot of candy creatures around, and if Luman flesh is anything like the other mammals in the Candy Kingdom, it will be very sweet. /meat/ers can visit, but you must behave yourself and stick to Luboar meat, or hime will be very upset, nanora...

>Luknight Expedition to /risu/ Log, Entry 3

We have now been in the land of the Risuners for one month. Thankfully, the issue with Sir Nalava has been worked out. After finishing the treat with the nuts and tree sap, he named it 'Baklava', a combination of his name and tree bark. Both I and the Risuners truly enjoyed it, and I believe Himesama will be delighted to taste it. Sir Nalava had also been hoping the Risuners would be pleased enough to allow continued tapping, but it was not so. Thankfully, the Risuners were happy enough to provide honey in exchange for more Baklava, which serves as a suitable substitute for the tree sap.

With the local conflict resolved, our expedition team has split. Sir Nalava and the bulk of our team will stay in Silvanus to form an embassy, while myself, Sir Mallow Sucre, and Lady Lululu Toffy, along with 3 guide Risuners will make a trek to the reported religious town of Pasuma, and eventually, their great tree temple. A similar group will be making their way to a port town on the other side of the Risuners' lands.

So far, it has been three days on the journey, slightly under half way, according to our guides. They are confused as to why we do not remove our armor. I let out a long "NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" to show my devotion to Himesama, and my fellow luknights followed. They seemed confused, though one of them shouted "Suuuuuuuuu" back at us, playfully.

Loyalty to Luna, Sir Saccharin Plumdrop III

Luknight Lore: Flora and Fauna (not that one) of Candy Kingdom

In general, Candy Kingdom is sweet, with more naturally occuring sugar in the plants and animals than in other regions. Crops and meat from livestock all contain a higher sugar content. This is believed to be because of the region's chuubanite, which slowly turns materials around it into sugars and candy, creating mineable underground deposits. This chuubanite-made sugar is ultrafine, actually being light enough to float up with evaporated water and turn the rain and mountain snows slightly sweet. As a result of the sugar everywhere, Luknights have also long ago evolved a very strong resistance to diabetes.

The primary crop of the south river basin province, Lunanora, is a specially bred cold-resistant sugar cane. This particular variant gets its resistance by growing its sugar on the outside as insulation, which ends up making them look like candy canes. This is shaved off by farmer-naitos, and sold as a luxury export as Candy Kingdom's main source of income. Up north, a few of these candy canes can still survive, but it is often too cold even for them to be farmed.

In the southeast province, Walanana, the 'Bunaitos' ranch livestock, mainly domesticated Luboars, and grow onions and herbs for sauces. Cotton candy tumbleweeds and apple trees also grow here, and the 'Bunaitos' who ranch other animals mainly do so for the naturally sweet milk. Candy Kingdom cows' milk also takes on the flavor of what they are fed.

In the southwest province, the economy is overwhelmingly mining based. The region is just too rocky for agriculture of any kind, but thankfully much of the ore is edible candy material. There are also chewy, sweet lichen that resemble gummy candy. These lichen must be trimmed from time to time, as they are known to reanimate corpses of large animals and cause havoc in order to spread itself. The youth are told to be wary of so-called "gummy bears" lurking in the highest regions. Sweet herbs also grow here.

Risuners! The Luknight delegation ship has arrived at one of your major port cities. They bring gifts of fine Luknight sugar, and mined chocolate. We are interest in a nut-sugar trade route through /hlgg/.
