I just don't really like streaming as a format, and I don't speak moon runes, so outside of the occasional clip that lands in my recommended feed every 2 months or so, my only interaction point with chuubas is this thread.

I just generally like the character designs, and then vtubers kinda have an ace over anime characters on one specific point:
Anime characters have an arc, start to finish. Chuubas on the other hand, are perpetually alive, and form a personality and traits in the same way as a character in a story, but without a sense of finality to it, meaning any user-content made with them sorta feels "in the now".
I'm not generating pictures of Mio from that one show that's over now, or will continue soon, I'm generating pictures of Mio now and forever, perpetually existing through our collective understanding and conscioussness of the character's existence.

I think that makes sense, maybe. In my defence it is pretty late. I just wanna look at the nice pretty anime women that people care about a lot, because it feels nice and I like interacting with a thread that's passionate about its subject.

I'm going to stop writing now before I wall off the thread.
