Reddit was always a colony of /jp/ and then eventually /vt/ to aggregate content for the girls to farm, and to push the hobby to new audiences by reaching r/all during COVID.
Even old-ass posts like pic rel were made by folks from /here/, and a lot of Coco memes were first posted in /jp/ before being cross-posted.
There's a reason a bunch of memoryholed surreal-ass 4chan memes are still viewable in some of her meme review streams.

What you're seeing now is the decolonization of reddit. Since the girls no longer post there much, the original residents have moved back to the places they originally came from (/jp/ or /vt/, and for ENfags, discord) and neighboring twitterfags are their new colonizers, resulting in "reddit-tier" memes, posts, essays and homobeggars that a lot of anons complain about.

Cover seems to have realized this, and I think the only reason Watame still posts there is because Helmite asked her to.
