So what exactly makes New Vegas good?
Gameplay? Same bethesda tier janky trash as all gamebryo games.
Atmosphere? Boring, empty and depressing.
Writing and story? Worse than any other Obsidian game unironically.
Characters? See above.
I think people memed this game up solely because of music and le fake cowboy aesthetics.
