Sonny is in an interesting position where he picked up a lot of Japanese fans by virtue of streaming close to JP hours, being fluent in the language, and showing clear respect for the country and culture. I'd be interested in seeing what percentage of his superchats are in yen, because it definitely feels like he spends half his superchat readings speaking Japanese. I wouldn't say he panders to them exactly, but I think he's very good about making them feel included.
Not to get too autistic over CCV, but I was somewhat surprised by the numbers he was pulling in Minecraft while overlapping with a relatively big Luca stream. Of course, there's a natural Minecraft buff in there since others were on the server, but there's less fanbase overlap than I expected and I think he might've brought in a bit of a new audience.

I agree with this. I think there's a decent EU/US audience that hasn't been tapped yet, and Fulgur and Alban are different enough that they might have a solid shot at breaking into it.
