Retarded take. I've been all over the US and small towns are generally fine. Hell, Southern small towns are hospitable as fuck, as long as you're east of the Appalachians.

If you were teleported to a random location in the continent of North America, you would be far more likely to be safe if you ended up in the US than Mexico or Canada. And it's an even bigger wash if you throw in the absolute trash fire that is South America.
I know media likes to hype up how dangerous the US, and how they constantly make a media storm out of shootings, but such events are no more common in the US than chemical attacks are in Great Britain. Probably even less common, actually.

You know I've driven through Nebraska but I've never actually visited proper. Probably nice though. Midwest is generally nice to visit outside of the cities, which are mostly fucking terrible (Twin Cities were nice though.)
