The reason Mori is my oshi is she's never satisfied with where she stands. It reminds me of an old Tom Waits quote about why he was always changing his sound up: "Because your fingers get to be like old dogs." That's the vibe I get from Mori. She might hate RIP but it was flashy and different and not what people expected. It grabbed me by the head and shouted "THIS IS SOMEONE TO PAY ATTENTION TO" and three years later I've only enjoyed watching her change and grow.

It's fucked up when you think about that wider audiences really only see this shit when it gets notably bad. Part of her job is putting up with a constant low-level brainpoison miasma of schizo shit. And yeah, on one hand, she knew what she was signing up for, but on the other I can totally see how you need the composure of a zen master to not occasionally lash out and make some bad decisions.
