No. Her original design is Kagura from Gintama because she loves Gintama. The whole concept was clearly her own idea.
Her new outfit was also mostly her own design as well, you can see her drawing it before she ever "needed" it. For the record, her Mama takes 100% credit for the boob window. She even wanted to do it on the original Chinese outfit, but Cover did not let her at the time.
