No way I'll turn you away from buying the first bottle of cologne I got as a gift. It is very "sweet", but not cloyingly so. "Winter is coming" too so it's the right kind of weather to actually wear it. I'll wear damn near anything as well, like you said, as long as I can afford it and sometimes even if I cannot, cries tears of pre-reformulation Yves Saint Laurent M7. If you don't point me in a specific direction or tell me what you already have or like, I won't know what to recommend...pour a drink or light a cigar.

This shit has no right to smell the way it does and last as long as it does at this price. It smells like your typical clubbing scents, One Million and all its buddies, got together for a gang-bang, and this is the kid that was born 9 months later. Seriously, a 200 mL bottle is like $25. I have a relative that only ever asks me for cologne. Used to get him 50 mL bottles of fancier shit and start getting the re-stock requests months before I was due to visit again. One year I took him a giganigger bottle of this. He goes through it 2x faster, but it's 4x as big, he's much happier, my wallet is much happier, and everyone around him has lost their sense of smell.

If you want things that smell sweet as Pi does, all on the "pricier" side for designer stuff:

it HAS been reformulated. I have an original "Eau de Toilette Concentree" bottle. They relabeled it "Eau de Parfum" without reformulating it, and then actually reformulated it a few years ago. There's a "formula code" beneath the ingredient list on the back of the box, since it could say "EdP" but still be a pre-reformulation bottle. IL39-I is the original formula, IL22-I is the reformulation.

I haven't smelled the new one, but it might just be the usual "IFRA are being niggers and banned something new." The OG is a fucking powerhouse, that shit lasts all day and fades to a very pleasant "skin scent".

Good. Don't get "Dior Homme" a la 2020 then, get "Dior Homme Original". The only reason it was worth a sniff to begin with was the iris note that they apparently removed in 2020. Compliment magnet, by the way, one of only a few things I've consistently had women ask about so they can buy a bottle for they man.

It's like regular Dior Homme if it was better, louder, sweeter, and lasted longer, all with a convincing hint of oud. Big "East meets West" vibes from this one. I don't even know if they still make it. Last time a family member traveled overseas, right before the coof, I asked them to get me a duty free bottle, and they had no trouble finding it.
