Suisei was one of my introductions to Hololive, the Project Winter clips of her specifically. She is my first and still my oshi. However I don't speak Japanese, so as a result I have watched and understood much more Fuwamoco and I guess you could say I'm closer to them? Even though they've only been around a few months, whereas I've been watching Suisei for 5 years now, out of the 6 she's been around. It creates conflicting feelings in me, and also why I'm hesitant to say I love them, because do I really? Don't I also love Suisei? Even though I've consumed much more Fuwamoco content by volume, when Suisei gets on stage, I weep. I'm so proud of her, she was just some weirdo and now she's truly the Pride of Hololive like Fubuki said. And yet I feel distance because she can't stream that often, most of her merch and collabs are in Japan, and like I said I don't speak Japanese. But whenever I see her perform I'm blown away. I'm afraid of this happening to Fuwamoco too, of them getting super popular, even though it's what they dreamed of like Suisei, there is a selfish part of me that just feels lonely. When I got into vtubing, there was only oshi. Now I have multiple oshi and I still never really declared kamioshi, but I hesitate to call Fuwamoco that because I still really really love Sui-chan. I can't help it. She is my first love.

I've been watching Suityan for years. She still has my heart. She doesn't even want gachikoi and she doesn't stream the often. But the moment I see her onstage, tears run down my face and I love her. I think it's the same for a lot of others. If Fuwamoco aren't your first ever Holos, odds are good you've been following someone else for all this time. Fuwamoco are very affectionate and work very hard, but they are also up against years of affection that others have built up. And most people aren't whores who would switch oshis or kamioshi's so quickly. And even if you were, that's not the type of fan Fuwamoco would want you to be either. They would never want to hear you disparage a coworker or tell them that you dropped someone else for them.
