/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

This post honestly isn't meant to be bait, even though I know a lot of people will still think it is anyway, but Beatani has helped me understand why people outside of /vt/ have a disdain for vtubers so much, and has also made me realise how much more I prefer souless corpos to indies.
Beatani and other indies really aren't that different from ethots. I think if any vtuber has the luxury of engaging with her fans to the extent Beatani does, the unappealing narcisstic attention-seeking nature of women will gradually begin to become more apparent. Her tweet complaining about people arguing instead of talking about her after she has finished a stream helped me realise this. She pretty much just treats vtubing as a way of venting her problems and blogposting to an audience of fans who will listen to and agree with anything she says.
With corpos however, they're obligated to have very minimal interactions with their fans outside of stream chats, and are forced to have a cheerful entertaining persona at all times. They're much more like waifus, whereas with an Indie they're essentially just normal women with an anime avatar.

I think you have to have a lot of normalfag qualities in order to truly enjoy indies. I don't feel like I fit into this community, and that's probably because I'm a grand wizard and haven't seen the appeal in 3DPD for about 25 years. A lot of people in these threads seem really bent on engaging and "grooming" her, with some sort of unironic delusion that there exists a possibility they will become at least friends(and hopefully more!).
Anyway, sorry for the blogpost. I feel pretty enlightened right now so I'm gonna go do something productive with this clairty and energy!
